"We receive complaints every year from property owners with a mortgage complaining their bank paid off their rates arrears to the local council and then took the amount from their account,” said Banking Ombudsman Deborah Battell.

"“It affects a relatively small number of people but ratepayers sometimes contact us because they are already under considerable financial pressure. Seeing their account debited for rates arrears can be a shock,” said Ms Battell.

“Our investigations into these complaints consider whether bank communication and information is adequate. The US Federal Reserve announced it is ceasing Quantitative Easing this week too. Make no mistake, the cataclysmic abomination is fast approaching us as well.

That was how the change in labour law was framed in the compliant and complicit mainstream media. But was has really been achieved by John Key’s National party? Here is my take on it.

To start with these changes are not unrelated. They are very smart changes which will completely gut whatever rights workers have enjoyed because of union power and here is why:

What employers (exceptions not withstanding) want in general is more work done by and less responsibility for their worker’s wellbeing. They want to be able to punish and reward and in that sequence and they want to get rid of troublesome workers with ease and they hate people organising themselves to make a fist for better conditions. Understanding that is the easy part!

How to achieve this without starting a revolution is what is the difficult part but they did and here is how:

They used the Switch and Bait trick every conman uses if he want something you’ve got and he wants!

First put something (relatively) innocuous in the bill you are proposing. That is the tea break part of it. So why put that in there?

Everybody I know who works has had times s/he would forgo their coffee break or lunch because something or other needs finishing. And most people will oblige if asked to do so. Most people like to cooperate and be members of a team and if you can get your tea break later there is usually not much of a problem.

A tea break is an important moment of the day for people. It gives you a change to relax a little and talk to your colleagues for a bit of human bonding and it was guaranteed to cause a ruckus which could then be used to frame workers as small minded, lazy and uncooperative. Once you have that in place the rest, the punish and reward and easy firing become a whole lot easier because while the tea break features high in the MSM and the cafeterias of workplaces around the country not a lot else makes it out there.

So what else did they get through?

The next item on the list is the means to punish workers who, perhaps upset that their tea break is no longer guaranteed, might contemplate industrial action. It is now legal for bosses to dock peoples pay if they so much as work a tad bit slower because they are upset. That is a massively powerful tool to have at your disposal and it will affect everybody directly as wages are down and getting lower making even a $ 0.10 per hour reduction a liability.

So if you think about fighting back you now have to face a direct and tangible punishment for doing so.

So if you can’t have a break merely because your boss doesn’t want you to have one and you are upset what would be your next port of call? The Union. Think again because this law also brought in effect that there is no longer an obligation to conclude collective bargaining. Bet you did not hear about that in the MSM? So that means that if Fonterra wants to start breaking up the Union protecting their workers  all they have to do is refuse to conclude negotiations with the union representatives.

I envision the following. You systematically refuse certain workers their tea breaks. Perhaps Union reps and people with more outspoken opinions. That denies them down time with their colleagues and their ability to inform and educate people. If they get upset and become less inclined to follow orders you dock their pay.

If that gets them up in arms that is even better because other people who are not so outspoken or part of the union will get scared of what is happening to their colleagues and will move away from them to protect themselves. When time comes to negotiate you have a small group of angry people and a large group of scared people and all you have to do is say no to the demands of the angry people and the law is with you so no worries!

This is what will happen in the bigger corporate kinds of environments. 

It will destroy workers rights and will to fight for them as long as they still have something to loose but what will happen in the small businesses who don't have much of a Union “problem”?

Until this law change was accepted there was a very important workers protection. If a boss sold a business he could only do so with the workers continuing to have their jobs. That made it harder to sell a business that wasn’t as profitable as it could be with say less workers or moved to another place.

Under the current law it is very hard to fire people. The 90 day trial period made it a lot easier to weed out undesirables such as people deemed lazy or incapable of doing the job they where hired to do already and it was also used to hire and fire people in jobs where a low level of education such as MacDonald outlets etc.

Rather than keeping employees until you can’t fire them any more you just get rid of them and hire new ones. Quickly train them up in the very simple job they have to do and Bob’s your uncle.

In comes another very important law change: Workers at small businesses are no longer guaranteed continued employment if their company is sold.

This is perhaps the most insidious law change of the lot because with this one you can circumvent every other labour law still in place!

The Fed said it was confident the US economic recovery would continue, despite a global economic slowdown.


Comment: And so the news is now official that the cabal are about to turn off their funny-money printing presses in the US. No matter what the spin they might try to put on this, nobody really knows for sure how this will impact the markets.

However; it is well known that the QE programme was the only thing keeping the US economy afloat; whilst further ushering the value of the 'Fed Dollar' to the inevitable (and engineered) point of value = zero.

There has been no such thing as the "US Dollar" since the Rothschild-instigated private banking-family owned cartel that formed the international Reserve Banking system was designed in 1913. What has been since referred to as the "US Dollar" and subsequently enforced as the global Reserve Currency, (or the 'Petrodollar') has never been anything other than a baseless, ever depreciating debt reference record.

With many other nations (including but not limited to the BRICS Alliance nations) now aborting that criminal and private Reserve Banking cartel standard 'currency' - the playing field is no longer tilted in terms of the favour of the Khazarian Nazionists.

And so there will be more reports of 'flying banksters', deceased heads' of criminal family empires - and scuttling, formerly well paid-off corporate and government underlings, coming to light as events continue to unfold - and more publicly than ever before.


The targets for inflation and reduction in unemployment were on track, the Fed said in a statement.

The central bank, which also said it would not raise interest rates for a "considerable time", has gradually cut back QE since last year.

The statement suggested that although the jobs market is strengthening, it is still not back to normal, which is why interest rates are being held.

"The Committee continues to see sufficient underlying strength in the broader economy to support ongoing progress toward maximum employment in a context of price stability," the Fed said.

Analysts said the news was in line with expectations.

"The Fed's announcement is exactly what everyone expected," said Wayne Kaufman, chief market analyst at Phoenix Financial, in New York. "The Fed sees enough improvement in economic activity to end QE, but at the same time, it will keep low rates because it isn't yet seeing what it wants to see as far as inflation goes," he said.

Several analysts seized on the Fed's comments about slack in the labour market. Previous policy statements have referred to "significant underutilization of labor resources".

Wednesday's statement left out the word "significant".

Paul Ashworth, chief US economist at Capital Economics, said: "In light of the latest drop in the unemployment rate to below 6%, the dropping of "significant" could be, well... significant."

Brian Jacobsen, strategist at Wells Fargo Funds Management, added: "I was pleasantly surprised that they removed the reference to there being significant underutilization of labour resources. I think that is a hat tip to some of the progress being made in the labour market." [Which is a load of BS as the figures are cooked].

US shares were down ahead of the statement and continued to drift lower after the news was announced.

QE started in November 2008 amid the financial crisis and fears that the US, and the rest of the world, might be facing another great depression.

The Fed's traditional ammunition, cutting interest rates, was running low - there was one more cut the following month, taking the main interest rate target down to practically zero.

So the central bank began buying financial assets and creating new money to pay for them.

In total, the Fed has added $3.7tn worth of assets to its holdings, about an eightfold increase.

BBC economics correspondent Andrew Walker said that although the US economy is improving, the moderate unemployment rate does not tell the whole story.

"There are still many people working part-time who would rather have longer hours, and many people not looking for jobs who are not counted as unemployed but would actually like to work. And long term unemployment is still a serious problem." "The end of QE will nonetheless be an important milestone in the repair of the US economy," he said.

Recent data has pointed to increase spending by consumers and businesses. However, the housing market is still struggling and pay is stagnant.

There is concern about the long-term impact of the US's persistent low inflation, which risks undermining consumer spending as people delay purchases in the hope that prices will fall further.

RT: A leaked report from the Department of Homeland Security has shown that since 2010, 13 men with terrorist ties have entered Canada through the US. Why is America ignoring the terrorist threat at home?

Talal Atrache: Since 9/11 the US has dramatically toughened its anti-terrorism laws in order to prevent attacks on its soil. It has increased its security and intelligence cooperation with many countries around the world and it has strongly lobbied the UN Security Council in order to favor anti-terrorist laws.

Now the problem is that it’s difficult to draw a clear line between, for example, those who hold violent religious ideologies and those are simply pious and not Islamist terrorists. The states should not discriminate against them just because they pray and go to mosques. It’s not easy to track terrorists because… they are present worldwide, and the US policies in the Middle East have led to an increased number of failed states that have become safe havens for different terrorist groups.

These groups have now bases everywhere, and with a progress of technology and means of communication they have found new ways of expanding their worldwide network and to diversify their financial sources. So this is just to say that you can’t create failed states worldwide and separately fight terrorism in the US or other individual countries.

RT: Why has Canada taken no action to stop these crossings of people linked to terrorist cells? Do you think Canada was notified about this?

TA: I don’t know whether Canada was really notified. I suppose there is a strong and very close coordination between Canada and the US in regard to security measures, and they should have been notified. Canada has taken many measures in order to counter terrorism, it has recently toughened its citizenship and immigration laws, it has increased its financial intelligence measures designed at tracking suspects.

But many politicians believe that more should be done and there is a project…right now on the table that gives the Canadian security intelligence service more power to probe terrorism and to track suspects. Again, it’s not a domestic problem only; it’s an international issue that has to be dealt with proper international policies.

RT: Is there a connection between the events at Parliament Hill and Canada’s involvement in the US led anti-Islamic State coalition?

TA: Apparently yes, there is an indirect link, because the terrorist who did the attack apparently has some links with ISIS and Al-Qaeda groups, according to what ISIS is claiming right now and according to the profile of the terrorist. But this connection has to be yet proved in a more effective way, and definitely Canada’s involvement in this war has transformed Canada into target for ISIS.

In another way, let’s say, even before Canada’s involvement in the US war against ISIS, there were already approximately 100 Canadian jihadists fighting in Syria in the ranks of ISIS. This is just to say again that this terrorism threat is international and not just local, domestic issue in Canada or the US.

RT: Do you think that the idea of anti-IS coalition led by the US is good? Would this policy be successful?

TA: The way that the US is carrying this war is a total failure. Why? Just because the main US allies against ISIS are ISIS’ main allies at the same time. The countries that supported initially and still financed, armed and supported ISIS are within the US coalition right now. And this doesn’t make sense.

Turkey, for example, has become a jihadist highway; this is the main place, platform for jihadists. Jihadists are coming all over the world, transited in Turkey and going into Syria with indirect help of the Turkish government - Erdogan has not yet fired a single shot against ISIS.

On the contrary, it has even helped, facilitated logistically the ISIS network in order to achieve its goals in Syria which is to topple the Syrian government and to destroy the Kurdish self-administration that has been recently announced. At the same time Saudi Arabia and Qatar have played a strong role since the beginning of the Syrian war in promoting, helping and financing [jihadists].

The US is allied with these countries to fight ISIS, and the main thing would be, the main policy or attitude, is to fight these countries’ policies that consist of supporting indirectly ISIS or Al-Nusra, which is the Syrian branch of Al-Qaeda, and other extremist groups.

RT: What are the main problems with this US-led coalition fighting ISIS?

TA: The problem now is that, unfortunately, the US is unable to deviate from their dogmatic policy that consists of boycotting the Syrian government, and the US really needs boots on the ground. The only viable option would be to coordinate with the Syrian army, to promote and to help the Syrian army who is the only force willing to pay the heavy price of fighting tens of thousands of ISIS and other jihadists.

They estimated that the Syrian army has lost more than 70,000 soldiers fighting mostly the jihadist groups since 2011. It’s unimaginable that any other army in the world would be willing to pay that same price. This is on one side.

On the other [side], the US has done everything to reduce the influence of Syria during the past few years, it did everything it could to reduce the influence of Syria, Iran, BRICS group, including Russia and China, which happens to be the most qualified potential partners for the US campaign on terror.

The main problem is that the US should change its allies if it really wants to fight terrorism, and to join forces with Russia, China, Iran, Syria, that is the principle, the main country concerned in this war. And on the other hand, to implement all the anti-terrorist laws against Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar who are in the US coalition.

There are many UN resolutions that have been passed in 2001, and here I can recall mainly the resolution 1373 that punishes any country that directly or indirectly supports terrorism. In this aspect the countries that should be targeted for supporting terrorism are Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and other countries like Kuwait at the same time.

So it’s a matter of changing alliances and stopping this dogmatic policy that leads nowhere except [to] failing states all over the Middle East from Syria to Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan. American policy in the Middle East has been a total failure, it just created safe haven for terrorists.

Do you have secrets? Security expert Bruce Schneier has little patience for those who say they don’t.

When asked about government and corporate surveillance, there are some who shrug their shoulders and say they have nothing to fear because they have nothing to hide. Schneier’s response? “I ask them their salary and they won’t tell me. I ask them about their sexual fantasy world and they won’t tell me.

The whole ‘I have nothing to hide’ thing is stupid, that’s a dumb comment,” he says. What’s more, your day-to-day behaviour is monitored in ways you wouldn’t even realise, so these details and many more could be open for all to see – and use against you. And that’s a problem, even if you happen to trust your government to use the data for good.

Schneier, who spoke at BBC Future’s World-Changing Ideas Summit on 21 October (see video, above), helped journalist Glenn Greenwald analyse Edward Snowden’s leaked documents from the National Security Agency. The controversy was recently documented in the film Citizenfour, and consciously or not, Schneier’s sentiments echo Snowden’s own words in an early email to the film’s director Laura Poitras:

"Every cell phone tower you pass, friend you keep, article you write, site you visit, subject line you type, and packet you route, is in the hands of a system whose reach is unlimited but whose safeguards are not.”

Indeed, pretty much everything you do can be tracked now, says Schneier. “Everything involves a computer. You know that your Kindle tracks how fast you read, right? Everything you do online, everything you do on your phone, everything you do that involves any kind of payment system.”

As an example, Schneier told the World-Changing Ideas Summit that things as simple as taxi passenger and fare data could be easily de-anonymised once combined with location data, as the data analytics firm Neustar showed recently. Visit a strip club, for instance, and it’d no longer be private.

In general, assume your movements are being watched. It’s a fact already made glaringly obvious in London, when the local transport authority’s public bicycle data was unwittingly made public. Individual commuters’ journeys were easily chalked up on Google maps.

Sophisticated smartphone applications are now capable of building up detailed pictures not just of our location, but the context of our environment. In a recent paper, researchers provided the example of an app called CarSafe which is able to learn the driving habits of users by interpreting data from the two cameras on modern smartphones.

Schneier also pointed out at the summit that many of the mobile phone towers in your vicinity may not have been set up by your network provider, but governments – both domestic and foreign – who want to find out who’s walking by and what they’re up to. The secretive nature of these masts makes it difficult to know how they are used, he says.

“The British government will not even acknowledge that they use them. We know they do, but they won’t even acknowledge that. The FBI does acknowledge that they use them, but is very secretive about how,” he explains. “Someone found that there are 80-100 of these in Washington DC not run by the US government. We don’t know who’s running them.”

Public wi-fi raises yet more issues, since routers that pick up your mobile phone signal are now able to triangulate your position accurately enough to tell which aisle you’re in at the supermarket. If the “MAC address” of your device – a unique identification code for your device visible to a network – can be matched to you then whoever has that data might know very intricate details of where you, personally, have spent your time.

“If the government said you have to have a tracking device, for certain you would rebel,” notes Schneier. “But the government doesn’t have to say that because you do it willingly and they just get a copy of the data.”

And so might anyone else. The same vulnerabilities exploited by intelligence agencies could be similarly exploited by corporations, insurance firms, health providers, or even malicious hackers, criminals or terrorists – the very people surveillance is supposed to target.

“We need to choose between security and surveillance,” Schneier told the summit audience. It’s just not possible to build electronic devices that keep data secret from everybody except, say, government officials trying to track the movements of terrorists. “Everybody gets to spy or nobody gets to spy.”

Fundamental rights

This is why Schneier argues that people have a right to defend themselves from tracking. That means the right to take protective technical measures, communicate via encrypted systems or browse the Internet anonymously using services such as Tor.

But recently the rapidly increasing popularity of such tools has ignited consternation at the FBI. James Comey, the Bureau’s director, has said that encryption offered by companies like Apple and Google deprives law enforcement authorities of information which could be crucial to solving crimes or saving lives.

For Tom Gaffney, technical director at information security firm F-Secure, which markets software that protects users’ privacy online, the comments rang hollow. “Effectively, the government is forcing people down the route of using these tools because of their lack of transparency, their desire to track every bit of our data rather than concentrating on criminals,” he says.

Gaffney also points out that data collected by private companies, whether encrypted or not, can still be held more or less forever, and there’s no way of knowing for sure how it will be used or sold in the future.

The point of recognising all of this is to better understand the consequences of using free services which rely on monetising our data via advertising to remain profitable. And Schneier argues that all government tracking should be legal and targeted to individuals already suspected of criminal activity, rather than having universal surveillance through which private experiences belonging to millions of innocent citizens are recorded and stored.

The information we create as we navigate the world, both physically and digitally, is sometimes referred to as a “data footprint”. This sounds relatively benign, which is why the term is a poor metaphor.

The true data footprint you leave behind everywhere you go and after practically everything you do is much, much more detailed than a trace in the sand. It’s who you are: from your most public persona right down to your most private moments.

There is an international alliance taking down the so-called Illuminati power structure - and it is also collapsing from within its own member ranks.

The epic finale hasn't happened yet - but there is so much new information pointing in that direction, day after day, that we have been overwhelmed by it.

It appears that there are 12 to 25 times more "truth journalism" articles being written on a daily basis now than there were even four months ago.

Three words

Things are getting very, very surreal these days. Everything we thought we knew is being rewritten -- week after week.

There is no such thing as "the average person" anymore. Each person is waking up very quickly to a greater reality. It is quite amazing to behold. Once the largest arrests happen and the tribunals begin, everyone will be saying the same three words.

They are not only a very strong frequency, but a very damaging one to human health as well. We are sadly now completely surrounded by EMFs with WiFi, cell phones, electrical wiring, smart meters, microwaves, cell phone towers, and the like.

Many researchers are now claiming that much of the fertility issues (sperm count and egg viability), are due to the increase in EMF exposure. Dr. David Carpenter, the Dean at the School of Public Health State University of New York states, “30% of all childhood cancers are associated with EMF exposure”.

When a child under the age of 10 uses a cell phone, the radiation penetrates nearly through the entire skull. This is why Doctors in the UK have issued warnings urging children under 16 not to use mobile phones at all. Whenever I see teenagers walking around with their cell phone in a back pocket I can’t help but let them know the potential hazards having it so close to their reproductive organs! (They probably think I’m crazy).

Your cell phone is now also being used as a mini-antennae, meaning when you are using your phone, the cell company may ‘ping’ a signal off of your phone if it is closer to another person using their phone than the nearest cell tower. Having these signals pinging off that close to our heads is down right scary.

This is something new that cell providers are doing, so the research regarding what it may be causing to our overall health is not out yet. Hmmm…nothing like being used for a literally MIND ALTERING experiment! There is an issue here that more people need to be aware of, but we tend to brush the whole thing under the rug since we love our technology and no one wants to give up their computers, or mobile devices (myself included!).

Some people are more EMF sensitive than others and experience concrete symptoms when in higher EMF areas. Some people do not feel outward symptoms, which can actually be more dangerous since whether you can FEEL it or not, your body’s electrical system is still battling with EMF.

If you have noticed an increase in headaches, fatigue, blood pressure, dizziness, inability to focus, mood swings, insomnia, thyroid concerns, infertility, or hair loss, you may be experiencing some of the subtle but increasingly harmful effects of EMF radiation.
So what can be done to protect ourselves from these harmful EMFs that are EVERYWHERE? Here are a few of my favorite, and most basic ways:

1. Make sure you do not EVER sleep with your cellular phone within 3 feet of your body. As a matter of fact, if you don’t have an EMF shielding device (see #8) on your phone, keep it at least 3 feet away from you as much as possible. The Edmonton Sun said that “family and law enforcement try to find out why he followed ISIS kill commands.” Is there any evidence that he was “following ISIS Kill commands”?

We were told that both were known by the authorities who had confiscated their passports for fear that they would join terrorist organizations abroad. If the authorities went as far as confiscating their passports for fear they would commit terrorist attacks abroad, didn’t they fear that they would commit attacks here?

At this point we can only speculate about the motives of these two men. And one question that the media should ask, is whether the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) had anything to do with these attacks, since it has a known history of using informants to infiltrate Muslim organizations and issue violent threats against Canadian citizens. Moreover, known and documented ISIS has been supported covertly by the US and its Persian Gulf allies since the outset of the Syrian insurgency in March 2011.

But since the first killing on October 20, rather than being suspicious of the authorities, who have been warning us of the “homegrown terrorist threat” for months, the media relies almost exclusively on security and terrorism “experts” and law enforcement officials to provide “authoritative commentary” and they all agree on the “Islamic extremist” theory and self-radicalization on the internet.

Given that previous stress tests failed to expose serious problems in a number of key financial institutions – some were given a clean bill of health only to need rescuing just months later — there is a lot at stake, not least the ECB’s reputation and confidence in the entire euro-zone banking sector.

The so-called ‘Murdoch Report’ from 2009 was made public on the request of the New Zealand Herald newspaper under the country’s Official Information Act.

The document, which was put together by former Zealand’s Secretary of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Simon Murdoch, reviewed the operations of the country’s spy agencies after 9/11 when their intelligence-sharing relations with the US were undergoing a major transformation.

The report indicated that – since September 11, 2001 – the New Zealand’s intelligence community had doubled in staff numbers and more than tripled in funding, reaching to $103 million.

According to Murdoch, this money should be viewed:

“In the context of the annual ‘subscription’ paid by New Zealand to belong to the 5-Eyes community whose annual capital investment and operating outlays would dwarf ours". "It helps explain why the niche contributions that we can make to 5-Eyes burden sharing are so important and why agency heads strive to be responsive to partner demand," he added. The issue of New Zealand Intelligence Corps (NZIC) working hard on behalf of its Five Eyes partners is raised in several places in the report. New Zealand had to prove itself as a “niche contributor with capacity constraints, but some high quality competencies,” Murdoch said. The document listed a range of security challenges faced by New Zealand, including cyber threats to IT infrastructure, "imported or homegrown Islamic militancy" as well as the spread of weapons of mass destruction. Threats also included "trans-boundary criminality, civilizational friction, and resource rivalry and energy brinkmanship."

New Zealand Herald said that large sections of the report it received were blanked out, particularly, the areas, which appear to focus on the relationships with Five Eyes’ partners.

The country’s intelligence agencies have always tried to avoid disclosure of the contribution they make to the Five Eyes alliance.

However, there is speculation that New Zealand is involved in satellite interception due to its favorable geographical positioning in the Pacific Ocean.

The island state’s humble reputation is also believed to have been used as a staging point for electronic spying on countries that are less friendly towards the US or UK.

The Five Eyes alliance was formed after World War II so that the British Commonwealth and the US could share intelligence information on the Soviet Union and its allies.

The ‘Five Eyes’ term has its origins as a shorthand for the "AUS/CAN/NZ/UK/US EYES ONLY" classification level.

After 9/11, the alliance further expanded its surveillance capabilities, making monitoring the Internet one of its top priorities.

Over the last decade the global elite have been on a mad dash to consolidate power over the world. It's always been their plan like some evil villain in a comic book, but after 9/11 the plan went into overdrive and then turbo charged during the financial crisis of 2008.

Here are ten signs that the elite are losing control over the people:


1. Official lies no longer effective: The lies they tell simply don't work anymore. There was a time when official lies, especially about war and peace, were believed. Because, after all, how evil would it be to lie about such things? Generally people want to believe they are being told the truth when life and death is at stake. The boy who cried wolf has cried one too many times. Even if they told the truth at this point, very few would believe them.


2. No confidence in politics: US politicians have a paltry approval rating. The trust in government is at all-time lows here and around the world. Mainstream polls show only 10% of the public has confidence in Congress. In other words, 90% don't believe in them to be competent to govern.


3. No confidence in media: The most recent polls show that 77% of the population no longer trusts corporate TV news. Is it any wonder why the establishment media failed to sell the lies about the alleged Syria chemical event? With all their monopoly might over the airwaves, they can no longer claim that black is white simply because officialdom says so.


4. Bankers rejected: Hungary recently became the first country to follow Iceland's lead by shedding international bankers ( IMF ) and is considering pursuing prosecution of past prime ministers who enslaved the people with debt.
Look for this trend to continue even if nations decide to default to break free.


5. Vatican abruptly cleaning up its act: Under the previous Pope, Pope Benedict, scandals erupted from the Vatican ranging from covering up pedophile priests to money laundering and fraud. Benedict, in an unprecedented move, abruptly retired to make way for a seemingly much more likable Pope Francis. Pope Francis by all measures is working furiously to reclaim the church's peaceful and humble reputation. Whether this is genuine or a PR move, it's telling that the church was forced into such a drastic turnaround to save itself from losing all credibility.


6. Mutiny among soldiers: Finally. Soldiers, who are outlawed from making political statements, are steadily speaking out against US military adventurism. As Einstein famously said "The pioneers of a warless world are the young men (and women) who refuse military service."


7. Militarized police state: One of the darkest signs that the elite are losing their grip on power is the construction of the militarized police state specifically trained to combat domestic civil unrest. Local cops with tanks and other combat gear are working with Feds at Fusion centers, active Army units are on American soil for the first time in history, the NSA spy grid is being used by the IRS and DEA , and the elimination of due process for Americans under the NDAA are just some of the tyrannical moves made to secure the elite criminals from public backlash. They're clearly scared, and they should be given what they've done to the American people and the Constitution.


8. Serious secession movements everywhere: A state seceding from a larger political entity used to be an ultra-fringe concept, until now. In America, secession movements are winning over the public in parts of Colorado and California. In Europe, serious secession movements are happening in Spain and Scotland , as well as several EU nations flirting with the idea of dropping out of the euro. Decentralization = Entropy!


9. GMO food being rejected everywhere: Control the food and you control the people. True in theory, but much more difficult in practice. GMO leaders like Monsanto are being exposed . All of their economic and political strength cannot defeat the spread of knowledge about the dangers of pesticide-soaked Frankenfoods. GMO fields are being burned in protest in America and around the world , informed nations continue to reject their products , and labeling laws are gaining traction.


10. Cannabis liberation: Many reading this will think marijuana legalization is a superficial development. However, it is a major signpost that the elite's grip is fading. Enormous resources have been spent to keep cannabis illegal. Cannabis has been a powerful medicine for physical, mental, and spiritual health throughout the ages. This single plant represents a huge threat to the power structures and their industries, hence its seemingly senseless illegality. The approaching global reversal of the tyrannical policy of prohibition is the first of many concessions to come.

TPPA Would Criminalise Journalism

Wikileaks leaked the latest version of the TPPA intellectual property chapter last night. There’s some nasty surprises from the US, including its efforts to revive the defunct Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement by the backdoor and its efforts to ensure poor countries fighting, say, ebola can’t violate patents to save lives and prevent an epidemic (because in American eyes, the profits of big pharmaceutical companies come before human lives). But there’s another nasty sting: the TPPA would criminalise investigative journalism:

The draft text provides that TPP countries will introduce criminal penalties for unauthorised access to, misappropriation or disclosure of trade secrets, defined as information that has commercial value because it is secret, by any person using a computer system. TPP countries may criminalise all such disclosures or, if they wish, limit criminal penalties to cases that involve “commercial advantage or financial gain”; are directed by or benefit “a foreign economic entity”; or are “detrimental to a [TPP] party’s economic interests, international relations, or national defence or national security.” There are no public interest or free speech exemptions. Criminalisation of disclosure would apply to journalists working for commercial media organisations or wherever the leak was considered harmful to the “economic interests” of any TPP country.

Unmentioned: It also criminalises leaks which are detrimental to a party’s international relations or international security. So, the US is trying to US the TPPA as a backdoor to silence WikiLeaks, the Snowden files, and the entire enterprise of journalistic criticism of power.

The TPPA was bad enough when it was merely a secret deal being negotiated against our interests. But now its actively anti-democratic as well. Which I think shows us the danger of allowing our governments to negotiate such deals in secret: because we may find out at the end of it that they’ve signed away our democracy.

These so-called “partnerships” are in fact vehicles by which US corporations make themselves immune to the sovereign laws of foreign countries in which they do business. A sovereign country that attempts to enforce its laws against an American corporation can be sued by the corporation for “restraint of trade.”

For example, if Monsanto wants to sell GMO seeds in France or US corporations wish to sell genetically-modified foods in France, and France enforces its laws against GMOs, the Transatlantic Trade Partnership allows France to be sued in jurisdictions outside the courts of France for “restraint of trade.” In other words, preventing the entry into France of a prohibited product constitutes restraint of trade.

This is the reason that the US has insisted that the Transatlantic and Transpacific Partnerships be totally secretive and negotiated outside the democratic process. Not even the US Congress has been permitted knowledge of the negotiations.

Obviously, the Europeans and Asians who are agreeing with the terms of these “partnerships” are the bought-and-paid-for agents of the US corporations. If the partnerships go through, the only law in Europe and Asia will be US law. The European and Asian government officials who agree to the hegemony of US corporations over the laws of their countries will be so handsomely paid that they could enter the realm of the One Percent.

It is interesting to compare the BBC’s coverage (October 10) with that of RT (October 11). The BBC reports that the aim of the Transatlantic Partnership is to remove “barriers to bilateral commerce” and to stimulate more trade and investment, economic growth and employment. The BBC does not report that the removal of barriers includes barriers against GMO products.

Everyone knows that the European Commission is corrupt. Who would be surprised if its members hope to be enriched by the American corporations? Little wonder the European Commission declared that concerns that the Transatlantic partnership would impact the sovereignty of countries is misplaced.

RT, which is restrained in reporting truth because it operates inside the US, still manages to come to the point in its headline: “No TTIP: Mass protests slam US-EU trade deal as ‘Corporate power grab’.”

All over Europe people are in the streets in mass rallies against secret agreements by their corrupt governments for Washington to take over their lives and businesses. RT reports that “social networks have been mobilized for a mass campaign that has been calling on Europeans and Americans to take action against ‘the biggest corporate power grab in a decade’.”

RT quotes a leader of the demonstration in Berlin who says the secret agreements “give corporations more rights they’ve ever had in history.” As we all know, corporations already have too many rights.

“Protests are planned in 22 countries across Europe–marches, rallies and other public events–in over 1,000 locations in UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Greece, Netherlands, Poland, The Czech Republic and Scandinavian countries.”

Did you hear about this latest American corporate power grab from Fox “News,” CNN, New York Times, London Times, ABC? Of course not. Did you hear about the massive protests against it? Of course not. You only hear what the interest groups permit you to hear.

RT reports that the main aim of the international protests is “to reclaim democracy” and to put an end to the secret deals that are destroying life for everyone but the American corporations, organizations now regarded worldwide as the epitome of evil.

These phony “trade agreements” are advocated as “free trade removal of tariffs,” but what they remove are the sovereignties of countries. America is already ruled by corporations. If these faux “trade agreements” go through, Europe and Asia will also be ruled by American corporations.

A lot of good information is coming out of the alternative media, but even that needs processing and careful evaluation in light of the hype being thrown at us. We need to see what resonates and let it steep for a while as new information surfaces. Most of all, if it engenders even more fear it’s not a place to go. True helpful information is empowering, although often challenging to our previous ideas or subconscious paradigms. And that’s good. Just let things sink in and put them in the “holding tank” to either stay around for further evaluation or to eventually get flushed out as either false, detrimental or superfluous information.

Latest from the Globalist WHO’s Scare Machine

As an example and to try to keep this metastasizing situation in perspective and where they want to take it, here’s something from today’s news:

“LONDON (AP) — West Africa could see up to 10,000 new Ebola cases a week within two months, the World Health Organization said Tuesday, also confirming the death rate in the current outbreak has risen to 70 percent. WHO assistant director-general Dr. Bruce Aylward gave the figures during a news conference in Geneva. Previously, WHO had estimated the Ebola mortality rate was at around 50 percent. Aylward said the new rate confirmed it was “a high mortality disease,” and that the U.N. health agency was still focused on trying to get sick people isolated and provide treatment as early as possible. He told reporters that if the world’s response to the Ebola crisis isn’t stepped up within 60 days, “a lot more people will die” and that health workers will be stretched even further dealing with the spiraling numbers of cases. Note that regarding any information coming out about any of this, nothing is substantiated or verifiable, nothing is documented. We’re forced to take their word for it as mainstream propaganda gains a tighter and tighter grip on information. In fact, CNN and others have been caught staging ebola deaths to drive this issue forward. Not surprising, just as they’ve done with reports of “atrocities” in the staged terror war.

Overview – The Apparent Program At Work

Overall, we know there are plans to lower the world’s population levels. A lot of macabre scenarios and images have been around a long time, from FEMA camps, guillotine purchases, weird trains for shackled passengers, huge amounts of stored plastic coffins and massive mass burial graves being constructed.

Meanwhile people are well aware of many other programs regarding the deliberate poisoning of humanity. Many of these such as the debilitating electromagnetic radiation war on humanity are sidelined in people’s consciousness but they are just as potent as this ebola scare.

They are all designed to wear down and weaken the human condition. Again, very dark but important information. The endgame is what we come to realize and it’s certainly not for humanity’s benefit.





That realization is the one those we call asleep refuse to recognize. They can see corrupt government and corporate greed in most cases, but as far as connecting the dots to the rest of the programs and the overall plan, they think that is more than they can bear.

Well, it’s just the opposite. Refusing to see the light of truth will lead them to a quick and desperate demise.


The Multi-Benefit Plan

As always, there are several parallel benefits for the power elite with these types of engineered false flag scenarios. Already the US has sent more of their infamous “boots on the ground” to do who knows what there in Africa. It just so happens these resource rich nations would provide some wonderful bounty for the corporate and bankster outlaws.

Meanwhile, the entire continent of Africa has been a gem imperialists have wanted full domination over for a long time, so what better way than to decimate their populations via engineered malnutrition, massive vaccine programs and rampant disease introduction as well as fomented civil wars…and then send in the “solution” – more US and NATO decimation.

Same old bag of dirty tricks.

Similarly, reducing the US to a military controlled impoverished third world status has been their intention all along. Ebola is simply another step in this progression. They’ve obviously been planning feverishly for some major disaster scenario for a long time. We’ve been watching these programs converge and a medical emergency is a diabolically clever route. After all, who’s going to confront an epidemic or medical teams with guns?

Behold the castration of the people. Will they see it coming?

“But that’s not all.” The neocons are feverishly predicting a nuclear strike on US territory in order to keep the terrorism meme in full play at the same time. Talk about a squeezed population. When anything goes, anything goes. And these psychotic social engineers will be sure it does.


Their Relentless War on the Human Immune System

Amongst the many assaults on humanity is the vaccine program. Like chemtrails, vaccines are a delivery system. Once desperate people are accustomed to taking intravenously something to supposedly help and protect them, and will then voluntarily, cooperatively and even eagerly line up to get their injections, you have the perfect system in place.

Already bombarded with drugs and adulterated foods, air and water the duck is sitting awaiting its demise.

Now all you need is the motivation. Hence, long eradicated diseases have been resurrected and others genetically modified into new, more virulent strains. They really haven’t worked that well, as SARS and Swine flu and a few others had way less cases than the normal seasonal flu, statistics of which have been buried in media hype.

It seems the human immune system is pretty damn good at resisting invasion by enemy viruses just fine.

So that’s why they’re are at war with our resilient immune systems. Like our unquenchable spirit and eternal consciousness, the amazing human body is incredibly adaptive and self healing if we just feed it healthy and living foods and take reasonable care of it. So what do they do?





Attack our immune system, with anything and everything they can to weaken it. Heavily adulterated and genetically modified food, fluoridated water and chemtrailed air, and the most direct attack of all, vaccines laden with mercury and other toxins and most of all adjuvants – agents to deliberately overtax and weaken the immune system, along with the viruses they’re embedding into these vaccines. Diabolical, but a reality.

There’s one more thing that’s being woefully forgotten about in this overall picture. Radiation, the ultimate assault on anything living. We’ll get to that in a minute as it’s a crucial piece of the puzzle.


Where Does Ebola Come In?

Ebola supposedly “evolved” in Africa beginning in the 70’s, with small outbreaks each decade since, but with lots of media hype and imagery about how devastating and horrific it was. It’s very similar to another known disease there called Marburg’s disease so Ebola may have been their first attempt at altering it.

We do know mad scientists in biolabs have been tinkering with and creating bioweapons, on the pretext of producing “protection” against bioweapons, for a long, long time. They just can’t resist anything that can be weaponized, especially if all you have to do is introduce it into a population and it does all the rest on its own.

Pretty efficient and cost effective and very easy to cover any involvement via plausible deniability. Such is the way of the evil sorcerers.

Other so-called pandemics, the definition of which was altered to be much broader by the complicit WHO, have not taken off but served their purpose of creating warm up scenarios and getting the public used to the idea, as well as load them up with as many vaccines as possible.





This is how to break down the immune system which comes in real handy when this next round of viral warfare gets introduced. As John Rappoport points out, like AIDS, Ebola could very well be a catch name for a variety of symptoms caused by just about anything.

Makes total sense to me. The ultimate scare and control umbrella.

With the fear tactics being stepping up and the lying propaganda in full swing people are going to think even the most common ailments could be ebola now, and either go into a depression and hide, or flee to the nearest clinic where their chances of getting sick increase 100 fold – especially if they take a vaccine. What’s worse is newly empowered authorities can suspect or claim anything they want as ebola now that that heavily loaded word has been programmed into everyone’s head.

The X-Factor the Public Will Never Hear About – Radiation Sickness

It’s stunning the similarities between the symptoms of ebola and radiation sickness. Americans especially have been continually bombarded with toxic radiation from Fukushima for over 3 and a half years now. Radiation poisoning symptoms take time to appear. We’ve talked about this several times, as it’s one of those ticking time bombs we’re all monitoring. It’s the same with chemtrail and GMO poisoning and their long term effects and not a pleasant subject to ponder, but we can’t hide our heads in the sand.

This is now.

What most people don’t realize is that the effects of radiation poisoning are many, and cancer is only one of a long list of symptoms and causes of death, including a host of seemingly unrelated issues like heart attacks and diabetes which are escalating wildly. What’s most remarkable is that the supposed symptoms of ebola and the known symptoms of radiation sickness are almost identical.

Is there a connection? At the least, if this program keeps rolling out and more and more are showing radiation sickness symptoms it will all get put under the heavy constraints of the ebola control program, which is metastasizing into a form of medical martial law. Ebola may even partially be a plan to mask as well as utilize this reality using their new catch all bug paradigm.

But this whole radiation aspect is something to be aware of. It’s upon us front and center as much as anything coming at us.


Claim Your Immunity

I find it inspiring that the wonderful immune system is so resilient and that they’re having such a hard time putting out our flame of resistance. It’s so representative of their war on our consciousness which they can never win. There may be serious casualties in the months and years to come if this keeps rolling out but they can’t quench our eternal spirit no matter what. If we graduate from here we just move on to the next level and on with the show we go!

Fear is one of the biggest weapons against the immune system, as well as for our spiritual immune system. Stay clear of it. Fear of death is the ultimate fear for many and that really needs to go. There’s no place for it. It doesn’t even make logical sense never mind any spiritual sense. It’s perhaps the biggest underlying fear porn program of all, fostered by everything the social engineers can come up with. It’s time to shake it.





And whatever you do, do not get vaccinated for anything nor let those you know and love do so either. That may take getting off the grid in some cases, but steer clear of possible checkpoints, especially when they start to make vaccinations mandatory.

Above all, live above it all. Keep raising your voice exposing these lies and continue to bolster the courage and awareness of those around you, but stay above it.

Kick your empowering activities into high gear and keep on the offensive. And stay happy. It’s the best medicine and great for both types of immune systems! Ebola is probably the best known of a class of viruses known as hemorrhagic fever viruses. In fact, Ebola virus was initially recognized in 1976.

Other less known but related viral syndromes include yellow fever, dengue hemorrhagic fever, Rift Valley fever, Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever, Kyasanur Forest disease, Omsk hemorrhagic fever, hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome, Hantavirus pulmonary syndrome, Venezuelan hemorrhagic fever, Brazilian hemorrhagic fever, Argentine hemorrhagic fever, Bolivian hemorrhagic fever, and Lassa fever.

The Ebola virus infection, also known as African hemorrhagic fever, has the distinction of having the highest case-fatality rate of the viral infections noted above, ranging from 53% to 88%.

These viral hemorrhagic fever syndromes share certain clinical features. The Cecil Textbook of Medicine notes that these diseases are characterized by capillary fragility, which translates to easy bleeding, that can frequently lead to severe shock and death. These diseases also tend to consume and / or destroy the platelets, which play an integral role in blood clotting.

The clinical presentation of these viral diseases is similar to scurvy, which is also characterized by capillary fragility and a tendency to bleed easily. Characteristic skin lesions develop, which are actually multiple tiny areas of bleeding into the skin that surround the hair follicles. some cases even include bleeding into already healed scars.

In the classic form of scurvy that evolves very slowly from the gradual depletion of vitamin C body stores, the immune system will be sufficiently compromised for infection to claim the patient’s life before the extensive hemorrhage that occurs after all vitamin C stores have been completely exhausted.

Ebola virus and the other viral hemorrhagic fevers are much more likely to cause hemorrhaging before any other fatal infection has a chance to become established. This is because the virus so rapidly and totally metabolizes and consumes all available vitamin C in the bodies of the victims that an advanced stage of scurvy is literally produced after only a few days of the disease.

The scurvy is so complete that the blood vessels generally cannot keep from hemorrhaging long enough to allow an infective complication to develop.

Also, the viral hemorrhagic fevers typically only take hold and reach epidemic proportions in those populations that would already be expected to have low body stores of vitamin C, such as is found in many of the severely malnourished Africans. In such individuals, an infecting hemorrhagic virus will often wipe out any remaining vitamin C stores before the immune systems can get the upper hand and initiate recovery.

When the vitamin C stores are rapidly depleted by large infecting doses of an aggressive virus, the immune system gets similarly depleted and compromised. However, this point is largely academic after hemorrhaging throughout the body has begun.

To date, no viral infection has been demonstrated to be resistant to the proper dosing of vitamin C as classically demonstrated by Klenner. However, not all viruses have been treated with Klenner-sized vitamin C doses, or at least the results have not been published.

Ebola viral infection and the other acute viral hemorrhagic fevers appear to be diseases that fall into this category. Because of the seemingly exceptional ability of these viruses to rapidly deplete vitamin C stores, even larger doses of vitamin C would likely be required in order to effectively reverse and eventually cure infections caused by these viruses.

Cathcart (1981), the WHO introduced the concept of bowel tolerance to vitamin C discussed earlier, hypothesized that Ebola and the other acute viral hemorrhagic fevers may well require 500,000 mg of vitamin C daily to reach bowel tolerance!

Whether this estimate is accurate, it seems clear as evidenced by the scurvy-like clinical manifestations of these infections that vitamin C dosing must be vigorous and given in extremely high doses. If the disease seems to be winning, then even more vitamin C should be given until symptoms begin to lessen.

Obviously, these are viral diseases that would absolutely require high doses of vitamin C intravenously as the initial therapy. The oral administration should begin simultaneously, but the intravenous route should not be abandoned until the clinical response is complete. The public continues to be reassured that ebola is not a problem for the US, but CNN reports that Obama has appointed an Ebola Czar. The Czar is not a medical person but an insider lawyer who served as chief of staff to Vice President Biden.

Little wonder ebola conspiracy theories are spreading faster than ebola. And as far as any of us know, the conspiracies could be true.

University of Illinois law professor Francis Boyle, an expert of the perfidies of the US government, reminds us that Sierra Leone and Liberia, the countries most affected by the ebola outbreak, are two West African countries that host US biological warfare laboratories. Professor Boyle asks how the disease, which is mainly associated with equatorial Congo reached West Africa thousands of kilometers away.

Washington’s response is itself peculiar. The Obama regime sent 4,000 US soldiers to West Africa to fight ebola. Soldiers don’t have training or equipment with which to combat ebola. Why expose 4,000 Americans to an epidemic? This seemingly pointless decision has raised suspicions that Washington is exposing troops to ebola so that vaccines or treatments can be tested on the troops.

Are they: A. Going to get the troops to shoot the virus? B. Using the troops to occupy and thieve more natural resources under the guise of 'assistance'? C. Using the troops as Guinea-pig test subjects for exposure to the latest version of the bioweapon? D. After infection by exposure / vaccination, using troops as vehicles for exporting the virus live to the US? [ Attempts to import the virus back into the US have not worked very well to date, and they need to get a critical mass of continental US 'exposure victims' - before they can try to cover up contrived local mass virus releases from the hundreds of stateside bioweapons facilities ]

Other commentators have noticed that West Africa is an area of Chinese investments. They wonder if Washington is using the cover of ebola to occupy the countries or even set the disease loose in order to drive out the Chinese. The new US Africa Command was formed to counteract Chinese economic penetration in Africa.

The incompetence of US public health authorities in responding to ebola gives legs to these theories. Real conspiracies abound. Those who say “it’s just a conspiracy theory” need to look up the meaning of conspiracy. As one commentator observed, the CDC’s response to ebola is too stupid for stupid.

The CDC’s protocol is based on assumptions about ebola that do not seem to be true for the current strain. A nurse, who treated the ebola patient in Dallas who died, was given the green light to fly commercially even though she reported to CDC that she had symptoms. She exposed 132 passengers on the flight, and these passengers have since been in contact with thousands of other people.





The Daily Mail has published photographs of an American with a clipboard and without protective suiting boarding the nurse on a private airplane on way to hospital quarantine.

US public health authorities have imposed no quarantine on travel to the US from infected countries. US airlines continue to fly to and fro from the infected countries despite the risk of introducing new infections into the US.

African countries are doing a much better job than the hegemonic superpower. They have closed borders, prevented air travel, and tracked down infected persons and those exposed to them.

Instead of taking sensible precautions, the Obama regime appoints an Ebola Czar and sends 4,000 Americans into the areas where the disease rages.

Little wonder that Americans have no confidence in their government.

As the Republicans want to privatize and outsource everything, why not close down Washington and outsource our governance to a more competent country?

In a vote at the UN’s New York headquarters on Thursday local time (Friday morning NZT), New Zealand picked up 145 votes, claiming one of the “Western Europe and other nations” seats – ahead of Turkey and Spain – in the first round of voting.

New Zealand will take its seat on the council for two years, starting on January 1, 2015. The last time New Zealand sat on the council was 1993-94. It had earlier stints in 1953/54 and 1966.

It has been hailed a victory for small states by Prime Minister John Key, who said it came after hard work over a decade lobbying for the seat.

The 15 Rules of Web Disruption




David Martin’s Thirteen Rules for Truth Suppression,  H. Michael Sweeney’s 25 Rules of Disinformation (and now Brandon Smith’s Disinformation: How It Works) are classic lessons on how to spot disruption and disinformation tactics.

We’ve seen a number of tactics come and go over the years.  Here are the ones we see a lot of currently.

1.  Start a partisan divide-and-conquer fight or otherwise push emotional buttons to sow discord and ensure that cooperation is thwarted.  

Get people fighting against each other instead of the corrupt powers-that-be.  Use baseless caricatures to rile everyone up. 

For example,  start a religious war whenever possible using stereotypes like “all Jews are selfish”, “all Christians are crazy” or “all Muslims are terrorists”.  Accuse the author of being a gay, pro-abortion limp-wristed wimp  or being a fundamentalist pro-war hick when the discussion has nothing to do with abortion, sexuality, religion, war or region.  Appeal to people’s basest prejudices and biases. And – as Sweeney explains – push the author into a defensive posture:

Sidetrack opponents with name calling and ridicule … Associate opponents with unpopular titles such as “kooks”, “right-wing”, “liberal”, “left-wing”, “terrorists”, “conspiracy buffs”, “radicals”, “militia”, “racists”, “religious fanatics”, “sexual deviates”, and so forth. This makes others shrink from support out of fear of gaining the same label, and you avoid dealing with issues.

2.  Pretend it’s hopeless because we’ll be squashed if we try.  For example, every time a whistleblower leaks information, say “he’s going to be bumped off”.  

If people talk about protesting, organizing, boycotting, shareholder activism, spreading the real facts, moving our money or taking other constructive action, write things to scare and discourage people, say something like  “we don’t have any chance because they have drones and they’ll just kill us if we try”,  or “Americans are too stupid, lazy and greedy, so they’ll never help out.”  Encourage people to be apathetic instead of trying to change things.

3.  Demand complete, fool-proof and guaranteed solutions to the problems being discussed.  

For example, if a reporter breaks the story that the big banks conspired to rig a market, ask “given that people are selfish and that no regulation can close all possible loopholes … how are you going to change human nature?”, and pretend that it’s not worth talking about the details of the market manipulation. 

This discourages people from reporting on and publicizing the corruption, fraud and other real problems.  And it ensures that not enough people will spread the facts so that the majority know what’s really going on.

4. Suggest extreme, over-the-top, counter-productive solutions which will hurt more than help, or which are wholly disproportionate to what is being discussed.  

For example, if the discussion is whether or not to break up the big banks or to go back on the gold standard, say that everyone over 30  should be killed because they are sell-outs and irredeemable, or that all of the banks should be bombed. This discredits the attempt to spread the facts and to organize, and is simply the web method of the provocateur.

5.  Pretend that alternative media – such as blogs written by the top experts in their fields, without any middleman – are untrustworthy or are motivated solely by money

F or example, use the derogatory term “blogspam” for any blog posting, pretending that there is no original or insightful reporting, but that the person is simply doing it for ad revenue).

6.  Coordinate with a couple of others to “shout down” reasonable comments. 

This is especially effective when the posters launch an avalanche of comments in quick succession … the original, reasonable comment gets lost or attacked so much that it is largely lost.

7.  Use an army of sock puppets. 

You can either hire low-wage workers in India or other developing countries to “astroturf” or – if you work for the government – you can use hire military personnel and subcontractors to monitor social media and “correct” information which you don’t like (and see this), or use software which allows you to quickly create and alternate between numerous false identities, each with their own internet address.

8. Censor social media, so that the hardest-hitting information is buried.

If you can’t censor it, set up “free speech zones” to push dissent into dank, dark corners where no one will see it.

9.  When the powers-that-be cut corners and take criminally reckless gambles with our lives and our livelihoods, protect them by pretending that the inevitable result - nuclear accidents, financial crises,  terrorist attacks or other disasters

– were “unforeseeable” and that “no could have known”.

10.  Protect the rich and powerful

By labeling any allegations of criminal activity as being a “conspiracy theory”.  For example, when Goldman gets caught rigging markets, label the accusations as mere conspiracies.

The following 4 tactics from Sweeney are also still commonly used …

11. Become incredulous and indignant.

Avoid discussing key issues and instead focus on side issues which can be used show the topic as being critical of some otherwise sacrosanct group or theme. This is also known as the “How dare you!” gambit.


12. Use a straw man.

Find or create a seeming element of your opponent’s argument which you can easily knock down to make yourself look good and the opponent to look bad.

Either make up an issue you may safely imply exists based on your interpretation of the opponent/opponent arguments/situation, or select the weakest aspect of the weakest charges. Amplify their significance and destroy them in a way which appears to debunk all the charges, real and fabricated alike, while actually avoiding discussion of the real issues.


13. Hit and Run.

In any public forum, make a brief attack of your opponent or the opponent position and then scamper off before an answer can be fielded, or simply ignore any answer. This works extremely well in Internet and letters-to-the-editor environments where a steady stream of new identities can be called upon without having to explain criticism reasoning — simply make an accusation or other attack, never discussing issues, and never answering any subsequent response, for that would dignify the opponent’s viewpoint.


14. Question motives. Twist or amplify any fact which could so taken to imply that the opponent operates out of a hidden personal agenda or other bias. This avoids discussing issues and forces the accuser on the defensive.


15. Associate opponent charges with old news.

A derivative of the straw man usually, in any large-scale matter of high visibility, someone will make charges early on which can be or were already easily dealt with. Where it can be foreseen, have your own side raise a straw man issue and have it dealt with early on as part of the initial contingency plans. Subsequent charges, regardless of validity or new ground uncovered, can usually them be associated with the original charge and dismissed as simply being a rehash without need to address current issues — so much the better where the opponent is or was involved with the original source.

Postscript:  Over a number of years, we’ve found that the most effective way to fight disruption and disinformation is to link to a post such as this one which rounds up disruption techniques, and then to cite the disinfo technique you think is being used.

The reason this is effective is that other readers will learn about the specific disruption tactic being used … in context, like seeing wildlife while holding a wildlife guide, so that one learns what it looks like “in the field”.  

At the same time, you come across as humorous and light-hearted instead of heavy-handed or overly-intense. It works.

The most recent study was published in July 2013 by psychologists Michael J. Wood and Karen M. Douglas of the University of Kent in the UK. Entitled “‘What about Building 7?’ A Social Psychological Study of Online Discussion of 9/11 Conspiracy Theories,” the study compared “conspiracist,” or pro-conspiracy theory, and “conventionalist,” or anti-conspiracy, comments on news websites.

The researchers noted that they were surprised to find that it is now more conventional to leave so-called conspiracist comments than conventional ones.

“Of the 2174 comments collected, 1459 were coded as conspiracist and 715 as conventionalist,” the researchers wrote. ‘The research showed that people who favored the official account of 9/11 were generally more hostile’

Perhaps becoming frustrated that their alleged mainstream viewpoints are no longer considered as such by the majority, those who are anti-conspiracy commenters often showed anger and disgust in their posts.

“The research… showed that people who favored the official account of 9/11 were generally more hostile when trying to persuade their rivals,” said the study.

Also, it seems that those who do not believe in the conspiracies were not just hostile but fanatically attached to their own conspiracy theories as well. The researchers said that, according to the anti-conspiracy holders, their own theory of 9/11 - one which says 19 Muslims, none of whom could fly commercial airliners with any proficiency, pulled off an amazing surprise attack under the direction of a man on dialysis (Osama bin Laden) who was living in a cave somewhere in Afghanistan - is unwaveringly true.

Meanwhile, “conspiracists,” on the hand, did not have to pretend to have a theory that completely explained the events of 9/11. “For people who think 9/11 was a government conspiracy, the focus is not on promoting a specific rival theory, but in trying to debunk the official account,” the researchers said.

In short, the new study by Wood and Douglas suggests that the negative stereotype of the conspiracy theorist — a hostile fanatic wedded to the truth of his own fringe theory — accurately describes the people who defend the official account of 9/11, not those who dispute it.

The study also found that conspiracy believers discuss historical context, like viewing the JFK assassination as a precedent for 9/11, more than the antis. It also found that conspiracy believers do not like to be labeled as such.

These and other findings are contained in a new book, Conspiracy Theory in America, by political scientist Lance deHaven-Smith, which was published last year by the University of Texas Press. He explained why people don’t like to be labeled as “conspiracy theorists.”

“The CIA’s campaign to popularize the term ‘conspiracy theory’ and make conspiracy belief a target of ridicule and hostility must be credited, unfortunately, with being one of the most successful propaganda initiatives of all time,” he said.

He further noted that, essentially, those who use the term as an insult are doing so as the result of a well-documented, undisputed and historically accurate conspiracy by the CIA to cover up the JFK assassination.

As noted by Global Research, It was the Central Intelligence Agency that likely played the greatest role in effectively “weaponizing” the term.

Once they arrived, Brand spoke about the need for a social and economic “revolution,” something he writes about at length in his new book. Brand mentioned the high disapproval ratings that have been reported regarding American institutions like Congress, arguing that the last time vast swathes of the country were taxed by “elites,” a revolution was sparked.

Speaking with RT’s Aleksey Yaroshevsky at the event, Brand said the arrival of his book comes at a time when Americans are bracing for similar revolutionary action.

“I think it’s inevitable,” Brand said. “When universal change is required, people will formulate and organize, and bring about that change. Now we are living under galling inequality, at the point of ecological crisis. People are misinformed, but the means for new communication are merging, and people are awakening.”

Brand noted the influence of Occupy Wall Street on his thinking, saying it brought a great deal of hope to people. It showed him that:

“revolution isn’t something that belongs to the past, but something that belongs to the future.”

When asked about police brutality and the situation in places like Ferguson, Missouri, Brand expressed optimism for the future.

“We are approaching a time where the police will return to serving the people that they took an oath to serve...instead of enforcing government authority,” he said.

At one point, Brand – true to his style – asked RT’s Yaroshevsky if he was an “actual Russian,” and kissed him on the cheek after he said he was, much to the amusement of the bystanders.

By Travellerev in cooperation with Ben Vidgen: First of all, my knowledge of New Zealand law is limited so I decided to share the information (with permission from Anita whose name I also divulge here with her permission also) with non other than investigative Journalist Ben Vidgen from the Postman.

The letter is in contravention with NZ law as the ministry who received the letter is required to forward it to the ministry or person responsible  within the government who is tasked with the task of maintaining the knowledge with regards to the request. In this case that would have been the Ministry for Immigration or John Key himself as the official in Government most likely to have that information.

The letter was send out on the 19th day of the 20 day period in which they are required to respond to OIA requests.
The delay technique which John Key admitted to using today but which has been known to us as investigative Bloggers/Journalists for a long time indicates that they wanted to put as much time as they legally could between the request and the response. John Key stated the government uses this technique if it is deemed in the best interest of the government but in this case it must surely mean in the best interest of John Key himself which begs the question: What is he hiding?

The letter was signed by Tania Warburton who is the Acting Chief Legal Council. For those who don’t know that is the office embedded in the ministry of Justice which advises the government in matters legal. Tania Warburton has many skills and has had many positions very close to the epicentre of power. Here is her resumé according to Linkedin:

That is a very powerful lady responding to a very simple OIA request. What is more Anita had been put through to her when she tried to enquire as how to go about the request without telling her what the request would be and Mrs Warburton explained to Anita in detail how to go about it.

So what she did was instruct Anita to write to her and she responded with a letter 19 days later while breaking the law with regards to OIA requests depending on Anita’s limited knowledge. She specifically broke the law’s section 13 which reads as follows;

" Assistance: It is the duty of every department, Minister of the Crown, and organisation to give reasonable assistance to a person, who— (a)wishes to make a request in accordance with section 12; or (b)in making a request under section 12, has not made that request in accordance with that section; or (c)has not made his request to the appropriate department or Minister of the Crown or organisation or local authority, - to make a request in a manner that is in accordance with that section or to direct his request to the appropriate department or Minister of the Crown or organisation or local authority”.

So her response: “I have no grounds for believing that information is held by another department or minister in its/his or official capacity.” In fact lets zoom in even further “its/his or official capacity” - is disingenuous at a bare minimum but also in contravention of the law with regards to OIA’s.

Not only that but with this answer she also gives away who she might have approached for an answer if she had followed the law. No less than the Prime Minister, John Key would have been obliged to answer that question honestly if she had followed the law and forwarded the OIA request to him.

Ben Vidgen in his piece details his research in to the right to own property in the US if not a US citizen and there clearly is space for foreigners to own property in the US under certain conditions which for a rich man like John Key can easily be met so owning a place in Hawaii is not necessarily an indication he might be a dual citizen.

Please honour the content and not Ben’s writing style. Dyslexia is a horrible affliction and ridiculing him for his writing rather than taking in the content says more about those doing the ridiculing than Ben’s sharp investigative mind!

One word of warning: If John Key has double citizenship he might not be breaking New Zealand law although I would love to hear from someone about this who is in the know but he may very well be breaking US law which states clearly that US citizens are not allowed to serve in or conspire with foreign governments.

I think that Anita raised a valid question. I think the New Zealand population has a right to an answer. If John Key has sworn allegiance to another country we should know. Especially with New Zealand turning into the 51 state of the US at an alarming rate it might very well be us who have to fear betrayal if John Key does have dual citizenship and not the US.
